this piece is a reinterpretation of a classic ancient vessel. It is part of a collaboration series with Gianmario Buffoni, an archeologist and ceramist from Sardinia who has long researched ancient clay vessels from nuragic times. These pieces are all hand-built and then baked in a wood-fired outdoor clay oven whose peculiar firing process guided by the artisan’s knowledge, allows for the creation of unique color patterns on each vessels.
